Demand for mid-size trucks is rising faster than ever, with sales in this segment increasing by 83% since 2014. The 2019 Ford Ranger is now available to meet this demand, giving consumers that want a smaller truck another option to consider when they’re shopping around.
New from America’s leader in truck sales, the 2019 Ranger is a rough-and-tumble ride that is packed with a number of driver-assist technologies, making it easier to drive both on- and off-road. Not only does this pickup truck have a new exterior design, but it also comes equipped with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine that is paired to the only 10-speed automatic transmission in its segment.
It comes available in three trim levels: the base XL level, mid-level XLT, and top-level Lariat. The Lariat trim comes with available Chrome and Sport appearance packages, along with the FX Off-Road packages.
Along with being Built Ford Tough on the outside and under the hood, the Ranger also offers the perfect blend of comfort and function in its cabin. With room for up to five people, the interior features an 8-inch touch screen for the available SYNC®3 system. Other available technologies include Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Reverse Sensing System, and the class-exclusive Blind Spot Information System.
Production for this new mid-size truck begins at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant later this year. If you have any questions about when the 2019 Ford Ranger will be released, stop in to Dave Smith Ford today.
